Redneck Pepper Meat Loaf

1-1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup ranch flavored croutons (crushed)
1/2 small onion diced
1 egg
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp redneck pepper

16 oz ketchup (or tomato sauce)
1/2 cup water
3 T vinegar
3 T brown sugar
2 T mustard
2 T Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 350. Mix together beef, crushed crutons, onion,egg, salt, redneck pepper, and 1/2 of ketchup. Form mixture into a loaf and put into a baking pan (sometimes I do it into hamburger shapped patties and I double the sauce Making mini meat loafs!) mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pout it over the meat loaf(s). Bake 1 hour spooning sauce over meatloaf every 20 mins. Add exta redneck pepper on top just before serving to give it that extra touch.
